What Else is Needed? Will You Contribute?

It’s with a heavy heart, and in the act of kindness and healing, I’d like to devote this blog to the spirit of unity and the selfless act of donating and volunteering. I’d like us to all cohesively assist our fellow Americans after the devastating fires, floods, and severe weather that have devastated parts of our country over the last several months.

Let each of us contribute – whether donating to a charity of your choice (listed below are several national and local agencies and their links) or a good deed through volunteering in our communities – as well as praying for the individuals and families that have been hit with these unforeseen tragedies.

Our beautiful country has been bombarded with many obstacles this year, including the COVID-19 pandemic.  Let us mobilize in our neighborhoods to seek out the victims, offering cleanups, food drives, and donations used where needed most.

Let us put aside our differences, work hand-in-hand to help rebuild these areas.  Imagine what might happen in this great nation if each person put forth a single good deed.  Look beyond yourself, help the helpless, pray for each other, and ask God for his blessings over our country and its occupants.

Please don’t forget the precious pets in shelters looking for their new home.  The shelters need donations of dog and cat food, treats, chew toys, and bones.
